Knee Arthroscopy

It’s been one month since my arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus.  Happily, I’ve been able to resume exercise for a couple of weeks. You do have to take it lightly.  No squats for a while.  A cushion is also very helpful for kneeling during exercises as kneeling or pressure on the knee can still cause pain.  I also notice that there is a hard lump at one of the incision sites.  It seems to be getting smaller, but I’ll have to consult my doctor next week to find out exactly what it is.  I’m hoping that it is scar tissue that can be removed.

In conclusion, I am happy to report that the operation was a great success. So don’t worry if you ever have to go through this.  It’s way better than dealing with a painful torn meniscus.  Cheers!
